Summary
Team Pest USA is a long-time client of DynamiX, and the current site has been live since early 2017!
So much has changed about the business since that time, and your team is geared for growth in current and new markets. As such, the time has come for us to revisit your site experience, improving the fundamentals and creating a platform for growth that will be a huge positive for you and your team.
In this process, our aim is to remove some outdated approaches and ideas, while leveraging our "Native" capabilities to speed your time to launch of new features.
Taking a Build, Launch Refine Approach
Based on our discussion and the disconnect between what the current site shows and your strengths today, our aim is to rapidly create an experience that is similar in content to your current website, but that can be quickly moved forward as new content is created between our two teams.
This process is outlined below, and is optimal for search engine efficacy.
Build
21 Days
Our aim is to create a core site experience designed for both today and the future, adding the ability to create additional layouts over time via our Layout Store. We will be leveraging native features to keep costs and timeline as brief as possible.
Launch
5 Days
As soon as the site is in a place where we have content equivalence, we will launch the new site experience so that Google has time to re-index, and to allow search engines to see your new content as it is added to the site experience.
Refine
21 Days
Now that the site is live, we will focus on adding additional concepts to the site experience including a deeper home page story, additional photography/videography from your team and deeper details on what makes your business stand out.

Site Styler
As you saw during our call
together, Octane's Site Styler allows for sweeping changes to the look and feel of the
site experience, as well as smaller, nuance changes where appropriate. This
will be night and day compared to your current experience, and dramatically
better, faster and more nimble than any Wordpress or similar builder out there.
Layout Store
A brand new feature of our Octane software is the new Layout Store. This technology is designed to allow your team to add new features to the site without needing our support, both to fill in small gaps in areas and for broader and more interesting capabilities. As part of our work together on the new site, our team will integrate all current Layout Store layouts into the new site, currently over 150 components which can be utilized by our team or yours to continue expanding the site well into the future.
SEO Explorer
Our
exclusive SEO explorer lets you know where you stand in real time, pointing out
issues on pages across the website. We use it when building the site, and
you'll have access to keep it moving forward as content is added.
Audit Trail
We consider Octane to be a "single source of truth" for how a site is being worked on and improved over time, and have designed many features into the platform that allow for easy access to data that can assist in decision making and understanding.
- Input-Based: See any adjustments made to an input on a given page
simply by clicking on the history tool. You can use this area to revise back to
a previous version as well simply by clicking on the text and confirming!
- Page-Based: Want to see what changes have been made to a given page? This lives next to
each page and shows every adjustment since the moment the page was made.
- Global Trail: The left navigation bar includes a link to the site's global audit trail, which provides all changes made to the site and lets you filter by user.

Scope of Work
Secondary Site Experiences
Taking Local Markets Even Further!
For markets where you may wish to have a deeper local presence, or times when you may acquire a brand that is going to maintain their current brand name (even if for a period of time), we can "clone" your existing site's look and feel and generate a blank site for you to use.
We anticipate a flat fee of $2,500 per site clone and an Octane license for each live site. Unless you have us doing additional customizations or content support (both can be done at our hourly rate), this would be your only expense we anticipate for each secondary site experience.
FULL Layout Store Access
Octane's new Layout Store is a phenomenal technology stack designed to allow your site to do more without needing us to create custom components. Currently there are over 170 layouts inside the store, and more are being added regularly.
Normally our team adds just the layouts needed for the current site, but of our 7-year history we will be including the FULL layout store experience alongside the ability to add new layouts yourself directly.
