Redline Gear Cleaning
Website Design & Development
Summary
DynamiX is excited to partner with Redline Gear Cleaning on a focused website upgrade through Octane.
RedLine already has a strong story: clean gear saves lives. The opportunity now is to give the website a better technical foundation, stronger performance, cleaner SEO structure, more reliable analytics, and an easier system for the team to manage over time.
This proposal gives RedLine two simple options:
- Better: Performance Upgrade / Site Migration
- Best: Evolve Site Build
The Better option focuses on moving the current website into Octane while preserving the existing design and content structure as much as possible. The Best option takes that foundation a step further with a cleaner, more modern Octane site experience.
RedLine works with first responders to clean and inspect PPE according to NFPA 1851 standards, directly at the station or base, using its Mobile Extraction Unit® service model. Their site also emphasizes the ability to clean 40+ sets of gear per day, which should remain central to the story.
Site Goals
Improve site speed, performance, and overall user experience.
Create clearer paths for visitors to request a quote, contact the team, or learn more about franchise opportunities.
Move the website into Octane so the RedLine team has a stronger and easier-to-manage platform.
The Big Challenges We Plan To Solve For
Site Speed and Codebase
The Redline Gear Cleaning's current site is scoring 62/100, which indicates a reasonable starting point but also highlights an opportunity to improve the site's technical foundation, performance, and overall user experience.
Setting The Foundation For Success
An outdated website can quietly undermine credibility, even when the underlying business is strong. As part of our work together, we will set the stage for modernizing the look and feel of the site to better reflect the quality, professionalism, and relevance of Redline Gear Cleaning when you are ready. This will include updating visual patterns, layout systems, and interactions to create a cleaner, more confident experience that aligns with current user expectations while remaining flexible enough to evolve over time.
Pages Indexed By Google
Redline Gear Cleaning currently has 154 pages indexed by Google. In our review, we found 100 indexed pages, with 38 core and location pages and 62 blog pages.
During pre-development, our team will review the existing page structure before incorporating content into the new site experience. We will look to preserve the pages that provide value, while identifying any low-value, outdated, duplicate, or unnecessary content that should be improved, consolidated, or removed.
The Big Goal:
Deliver a faster, cleaner, and easier-to-manage website that clearly explains RedLine’s services, improves SEO, analytics, tracking, and performance, and makes it simple for fire departments and first responder organizations to take the next step.

Scope of Work
Engagement Options
This proposal offers two distinct paths, depending on how aggressively Redline Gear Cleaning wants to invest in differentiation. Both pathways are fantastic options, and each has its place. Our recommended path is outlined in subsequent sections based on your business and what we believe makes the most sense for you.
BETTER
Performance Upgrade / Site Migration to Octane
The BETTER option is a focused site migration designed to move RedLine Gear Cleaning into Octane and create a stronger technical foundation without overcomplicating the project.
This option keeps the engagement efficient and streamlined while improving performance, stability, mobile usability, SEO structure, tracking, and long-term maintainability.
This includes:
- Modern site migration into Octane with the current experience preserved as closely as possible
- Improved performance, stability, mobile usability, and long-term maintainability
- Cleaner technical foundation for SEO, analytics, tracking, redirects, and future updates
- Easier admin experience so the RedLine team can manage content more confidently inside Octane
Think of this as the fastest, most cost-effective path to move RedLine onto a stronger platform, improve key technical issues, and create a better foundation for future growth.
BEST
Evolve Site Build
The BEST option includes the site migration into Octane, along with targeted site improvements through an Evolve build.
This option goes beyond a straight migration by improving the structure, layout, user experience, and conversion flow of the site while still keeping the project practical and efficient.
This includes everything in the Better option, plus:
- Improved site structure and page layouts through an Evolve build
- Cleaner, more modern user experience that better supports RedLine's services, locations, franchise information, and quote paths
- Stronger visual storytelling to better communicate who RedLine is, what they do, and why their work matters
- More flexible Octane foundation for future content, service pages, location growth, SEO, and marketing needs
- Better conversion flow across key user paths, including service pages, quote requests, contact forms, and franchise interest
Think of this as the stronger growth option. It gives RedLine the technical benefits of Octane while also improving the website experience, making the site easier to understand, easier to use, and better positioned for future growth.

Evolve Site Build
Timeline Of An Evolve Build
Taking a Build, Launch Refine Approach
Based on our discussion and the current state of your site, our aim is to rapidly create an experience that is similar in content to your current website, but that can be quickly moved forward as new content is created between our two teams.
This process is outlined below, and is optimal for search engine efficacy.
Build
Typical Timeline: 2 Weeks
Our aim is to create a core site experience designed for both today and the future, adding the ability to create additional layouts over time via our Layout Store. We will be leveraging native features to keep costs and timeline as brief as possible.
Launch
Typical Timeline: 2 Weeks
As soon as the site is in a place where we have content equivalence, we will launch the new site experience so that Google has time to re-index, and to allow search engines to see your new content as it is added to the site experience.
Refine
If And As Needed
Now that the site is live, we can optionally focus on adding additional concepts to the site experience, such as a deeper home page story, additional photography/videography from your team and deeper details on what makes your business stand out.
