Summary

Real Estate One Academy has been an Octane client for years. In that time, Octane has changed a lot. We now ship platform updates every week, have a native layout library with more than 400 layouts and templates, and have added tools like the Site Styler, Form Builder, SEO Explorer and OctaneAI. Your site was built on an earlier, custom-coded version of Octane, so many of these newer tools can't be used on it today.

This Performance Upgrade moves your existing site onto the current Octane platform. Your design, content and site structure stay the same, and your team gets the full set of tools Octane offers now. We'll build the upgraded site alongside your live one, so nothing changes for visitors until we switch over at launch.

This is the same Octane your team already knows, rebuilt on the newer foundation. From here, your site keeps getting new features as they're released, and you'll be able to redesign or grow it later without starting over.

Website Migration

DynamiX will review Real Estate One Academy's current Octane site to confirm the final migration inventory (13 pages). We will then rebuild the approved pages, content, imagery, forms, links and essential functionality on the current Octane platform. Wherever possible we'll rebuild existing sections with Octane native layouts so they work with the Site Styler and layout library. Small visual differences may come up where a legacy custom section is rebuilt as a native layout. If they do, we'll match the current look as closely as we can.

Scope Considerations

The Performance Upgrade does not include new content, copywriting, visual redesign, major structural changes or additional pages. Custom functionality that can't be reproduced with native layouts will be reviewed during the migration inventory and quoted separately if needed.

SEO & Technical Continuity

Page URLs will stay the same, and DynamiX will keep existing SEO elements, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and schema. We'll check redirects, existing parked domains, forms and tracking codes (GA4/GTM) to make sure everything carries over cleanly, so you keep your current search visibility.

Launch & Support

The upgraded site will be built and tested on a separate preview domain while your current site stays live. Before launch, DynamiX will run quality assurance on every page, link, form, and on desktop and mobile layouts. We'll launch with Octane's "launch a new version" process. It moves your existing DNS, Cloudflare settings, parked domains and canonical settings to the new site and archives the legacy version. No registrar or nameserver changes are needed on your end.

Since your team already knows Octane, training will focus on the new tools: the Site Styler, layout library, Form Builder, SEO Explorer and OctaneAI company profile. Real Estate One Academy keeps DynamiX hosting and ongoing support, including one hour of active support each month.

Built to Evolve

This Performance Upgrade does more than update the technology behind the site. It changes how Real Estate One Academy's website can grow from here.

Today the site runs on a legacy version of Octane with its own custom code. Because of that, many of the improvements we've made to Octane over the years can't reach it. Once it moves to the current platform, those updates apply to the site automatically. That includes weekly releases, new layouts added to the library, speed and security improvements, and new OctaneAI capabilities as they ship.

It also means your team won't need a developer for every change. With the Site Styler and native layout library, you can update styling, add or rearrange sections, and build new pages yourselves. When you want a bigger change, such as a refreshed homepage, new program or course pages, stronger brand storytelling, or a full redesign through Evolve or DynamiX Custom, we can build it on top of this foundation without starting over.

Real Estate One Academy's programs, students and goals will keep changing, and the website should be able to change with them.

The goal is simple: you've already invested in Octane, and now your website gets everything Octane has become, plus everything it will become.

Based on our discussions and Real Estate One Academy's current site, the Performance Upgrade moves your existing website from legacy Octane to the current Octane platform. Your content, structure and design stay the same.

Your current site stays live the whole time. We build and test the upgraded version on a separate preview domain, then switch it over at launch, so visitors won't see any downtime or disruption.

Typical Timeline: 2 Weeks

DynamiX will confirm the migration inventory, then rebuild Real Estate One Academy's pages on the current Octane platform. Wherever possible we'll use native layouts so your team can work with the Site Styler and the layout library. Content, imagery, forms, links, SEO settings and tracking all carry over, and the upgraded site will be available on a preview link for your review before launch.

We'll then launch through Octane's built-in process for launching a new version of a site.
