Protech Printing, a B2B printing solutions provider, has been serving customers in the southeast since 1984. With the mission to do what they say they are going to do, customers can trust that each order will be done right the first time. The current website does not reflect the company's attention to detail, expertise in the field, and quality products.
To simplify your timeline and costs while providing a fantastic experience, we have replaced multiple suggestions with our Evolve site process. This replaces several custom components, saving time and investment that can be used elsewhere.
Taking a Build, Launch Refine Approach
Based on our discussion and your current site challenges, our aim is to rapidly create an experience that is similar in content to your current website, but that can be quickly moved forward as new content is created between our two teams.
This process is outlined below, and is optimal for search engine efficacy.
Build
10 Days
Our aim is to create a core site experience designed for both today and the future, adding the ability to create additional layouts over time via our Layout Store. We will be leveraging native features to keep costs and timeline as brief as possible.
Launch
3 Days
As soon as the site is in a place where we have content equivalence, we will launch the new site experience so that Google has time to re-index, and to allow search engines to see your new content as it is added to the site experience.
Refine
21 Days
Now that the site is live, you can focus on adding additional concepts to the site experience including a deeper home page story, additional photography/videography and deeper details on what makes your business stand out. We are here to help!

issues on pages across the website. We use it when building the site, and
you'll have access to keep it moving forward as content is added.

Leveraging the latest in artificial intelligence technology, Octane has been designed to augment your team's content needs directly within each individual page.
Site Styler
Octane's Site Styler allows for sweeping changes to the look and feel of the
site experience, as well as smaller, nuance changes where appropriate. This
tool is faster and more nimble than any Wordpress or similar builder out there.
Audit Trail
We consider Octane to be a "single source of truth" for how a site is being worked on and improved over time, and have designed many features into the platform that allow for easy access to data that can assist in decision making and understanding.
- Input-Based: See any adjustments made to an input on a given page
simply by clicking on the history tool. You can use this area to revise back to
a previous version as well simply by clicking on the text and confirming!
- Page-Based: Want to see what changes have been made to a given page? This lives next to
each page and shows every adjustment since the moment the page was made.
- Global Trail: The left navigation bar includes a link to the site's global audit trail, which provides all changes made to the site and lets you filter by user.

Octane's new Layout Store is a phenomenal technology stack designed to allow your site to do more without needing us to create custom components. Currently there are over 150 layouts inside the store, and more are being added regularly. We will add all current useful layouts during the build process for you.
