Octane's Site Styler allows for sweeping changes to the look and feel of the site experience, as well as smaller, nuance changes where appropriate. This tool is faster and more nimble than any Wordpress or similar builder out there.

Audit Trail

We consider Octane to be a "single source of truth" for how a site is being worked on and improved over time, and have designed many features into the platform that allow for easy access to data that can assist in decision making and understanding.

  • Input-Based: See any adjustments made to an input on a given page simply by clicking on the history tool. You can use this area to revise back to a previous version as well simply by clicking on the text and confirming!
  • Page-Based: Want to see what changes have been made to a given page? This lives next to each page and shows every adjustment since the moment the page was made.
  • Global Trail: The left navigation bar includes a link to the site's global audit trail, which provides all changes made to the site and lets you filter by user.

Dual Site Approach

Because your site has been infected with malware, it is critical that we get a secure website up as soon as possible. To expedite the development timeline, we will launch a Phase 1 website utilizing our built in Native Assets. These include many features, such as a CTA bar, multi column list, content and image, image galleries, and a wide variety of layouts that can be used for all of your basic needs. Your project manager will place your new content into these native assets and your designer will style them according to your brand guidelines.

This base site will serve as a foundation as our developers begin the development of your additional custom pieces. Having a dual-site process gives you the benefit of having a secure site up ASAP and still get the desired custom features for your products!

Post Launch Product Features

Protech Printing needs a custom, visual solution that makes it easy for users to browse the many unique products and access specific product information. Simplifying the user's journey starts with a mega menu, as it segments products by type, making it easy to navigate to specific product pages. For users who need more information before deciding which product they want to select, the filterable product grid is a great way to showcase the breadth of your products and offer an easy way to learn more. Lastly, a related product grid is a useful feature for customers who are searching based on function and may need assistance selecting the best product for their needs.

For Phase 1, we will build a manual-entry solution for products and then will commence the more complex development work after the Phase 1 site goes live.

Filterable Product Grid

A filtered grid enables users to view products easily by narrowing down their search with categories. DynamiX would build this in a way that supports individual product pages for each grid item, so users can select the specific item they want to learn more about.

Related Products Grid

By placing the related product grid on each product page, you are offering helpful suggestions to users and positioning yourself as a guide in their shopping experience. Products would be categorized on the backend of your website so that these related products would pull automatically based on product type.

Mega Menu

Having a mega menu would vastly improve your site navigation by segmenting products. Users should not have to work hard to find what they are looking for and listing specific products under each menu header simplifies the customer's journey by allowing them to go directly to the page they are looking for.

Layout Store Inclusion

Octane's new Layout Store is a phenomenal technology stack designed to allow your site to do more without needing us to create custom components. Currently there are over 150 layouts inside the store, and more are being added regularly. We will add all current useful layouts during the build process for you.
