OBHG Management Services, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company
Website Design & Development
Summary
We've already looked closely at OBHG Management Services, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company current environment, and a few things are clear: this is not just a design issue, a performance issue, or a one-time technical bug. The site is carrying significant structural complexity that now affects search visibility, data clarity, recruiting performance, content management, and the credibility of the data OBHG relies on to understand digital growth.
The data points to the same issue from multiple angles. Google is seeing far more URLs than OBHG actually has meaningful content for, while GA4 is showing traffic patterns that appear heavily inflated by bot, datacenter, or low-quality activity. That makes it harder to separate real audience behavior from technical clutter.
The recent canonical and WordPress/Freshy issues should be viewed as symptoms of a deeper problem, not the full cause. The traffic decline appears to have started earlier and was likely compounded by crawl barriers, indexation bloat, 403-blocking patterns, duplicate URLs, bot activity, and analytics pollution. The more accurate story is that OBHG has a valuable digital audience, especially around recruiting and search, but the current platform makes that performance harder to measure, defend, and improve.
Meanwhile, the organization has also outgrown the story the website tells. OBHG is no longer best described as an OB hospitalist staffing group. It is a national maternal healthcare partner helping hospitals improve outcomes, reduce risk, stabilize labor and delivery, and address provider shortages at scale.
That gap between what OBHG has become and what the current site can support is the real problem to solve. Patching the current site forward would carry too much of this complexity with it.
Instead, we recommend building a clean, scalable foundation designed for where OBHG is going — one that serves hospital leadership and prospective clinicians clearly, creates form and application pathways that connect into the appropriate operational systems, supports future service and brand expansion, and gives OBHG a more trustworthy data foundation at the executive level.
Site Goals
- Reposition OBHG as a national maternal healthcare partner, not just a staffing provider.
- Strengthen clinician recruiting with clearer paths to jobs, interest forms, and application workflows.
- Help hospital leaders quickly understand OBHG's model, value, and operational impact.
- Clean up the technical foundation by reducing crawl noise and indexation bloat, so the new platform produces cleaner, more reliable data.
- Build a scalable platform that supports future services, campaigns, brand updates, and growth.
Strategic Positioning
OBHG has reached the point where the website needs to work as infrastructure, not just marketing. The current site reflects the organization's history; it does not yet support its future.
The stronger story is straightforward: OBHG is a national maternal healthcare partner helping hospitals improve outcomes, reduce risk, expand access, and support clinicians across the maternity care continuum. That distinction has to come through immediately, because it shapes how two very different audiences make decisions.
For hospital leadership, the obstacle is the belief that they already have coverage through an internal program, a private practice group, or traditional staffing. The site has to make the difference unmistakable: OBHG brings a mature clinical and operational model to one of the highest-risk areas of the hospital, not just filled shifts. Health-system leaders are making high-stakes decisions, so the experience should read as serious, credible, and national in scale — confident and modern without being flashy or coldly clinical.
For clinicians, the site has to open a different kind of career conversation. Many residents and experienced OB/GYNs don't realize OBHG offers a path that combines meaningful patient care with flexibility, stability, and work-life balance. The recruiting experience should make that path easy to understand and easy to act on.
For OBHG internally, the platform needs to support marketing, business development, recruiting, reporting, content management, future programs, and brand evolution from a single, stable foundation — including the relationship between OBHG, OB-STAT, and OB TeleCare.
The Big Goal:
The goal is not only to launch a better website. It is to give OBHG a cleaner, more credible digital foundation — one that supports hospital growth, clinician recruiting and future service expansion.
The Big Challenges We Plan To Solve For
Site Speed and Codebase
OBHG's current mobile performance score of 39/100 creates measurable technical drag and can affect user experience, conversion, organic visibility, and long-term site performance.
The new site should be built on a cleaner, faster foundation that reduces unnecessary code weight, improves mobile performance, and gives OBHG a more stable platform to manage over time.
Modernizing the Look & Feel
An outdated website can quietly undermine credibility, even when the underlying business is strong. As part of our work together, we will modernize the look and feel of the site to better reflect the quality, professionalism, and relevance of OBHG today.
This includes updating visual patterns, layout systems, and interactions to create a cleaner, more confident experience that aligns with current user expectations while remaining flexible enough to evolve over time.
The Real Digital Footprint
OBHG's current website issue is larger than design, performance, or page count alone. The data points to a deeper structural problem: Google is seeing far more URLs than the business actually has, while GA4 is reporting a large amount of traffic that does not appear to reflect real audience behavior.
Based on the current sitemap and crawl review, OBHG appears to have roughly 2,800 real content pages worth evaluating. However, Google is aware of roughly 930,000 URLs connected to the site. Of those, only about 23,000 URLs are indexed, while roughly 909,000 URLs are not indexed across multiple exclusion and failure categories.
That means OBHG's true content footprint is being buried under a large amount of duplicate, redirected, blocked, parameterized, thin, or otherwise low-value URL noise. This is exactly why the new site should not simply recreate the current structure in a new platform.
The issue is not just search visibility. It affects crawl efficiency, reporting clarity, content confidence, and OBHG's ability to understand which pages are actually supporting hospital growth, clinician recruiting, thought leadership, locations, service lines, and brand credibility.
What Google & GA4 Are Actually Seeing
The largest indexation issues appear to include:
- 420,000+ crawled but not indexed URLs — Google has crawled these URLs but chosen not to index them, which often points to thin, duplicate, low-value, or unclear content signals.
- 158,000+ redirected URLs — a large redirect footprint that needs to be reviewed and cleaned up during migration planning.
- 133,000+ duplicate URLs without a user-selected canonical — a major duplication signal that confirms the current site is generating too many competing versions of similar content.
- 92,000+ blocked due to access forbidden / 403 errors — a significant red flag showing that Googlebot is being blocked at scale, likely due to access, security, Cloudflare, or bot-filtering behavior.
- 79,000+ alternate pages with proper canonical tags — expected in some cases, but still worth reviewing as part of the larger technical cleanup.
- Additional robots.txt, 4xx errors, 5xx errors, noindex, soft-404, and blocked/indexed URL patterns — smaller categories that should be reviewed as part of the migration and SEO plan.
At the same time, GA4 appears to show a large volume of low-quality or non-human traffic. Over the last 28 days, the site recorded roughly 64,800 sessions, but approximately 51,700 of those sessions came from Direct traffic, with very short session duration, extremely high bounce rate, and limited conversion contribution.
When that traffic is separated from the more valuable channels, the meaningful audience appears much smaller and more recruiting-driven. Organic Search and Paid Search appear to represent the strongest real traffic sources, driving the majority of meaningful conversion activity. This aligns with the top-page behavior around job listings, career opportunities, and the OB/GYN recruiting map.
The more accurate story is not simply that OBHG has 60,000+ healthy monthly users. OBHG has valuable recruiting and search demand, but the current site environment is making that performance difficult to measure, defend, and improve.
