Website Restructure & Positioning

What We Heard

Martin Concrete has evolved, and the website needs to better reflect the company you are today. With the former sub-brands no longer representing the business, there is an opportunity to create a clearer structure around your regions, divisions, capabilities and leadership.

Your technical foundation is already strong, with 96+ PageSpeed scores compared with competitors in the 60s and 80s. The opportunity now is to strengthen the story around that foundation and make Martin easier to understand and discover through both traditional search and AI-driven search.

Your position in the market is also a differentiator: large enough to execute complex, high-profile work while maintaining the accountability and hands-on approach of a more focused partner. That story is supported by strong proof points—100% employee-owned, 90% repeat clients and more than 6.1 million yards of concrete poured.

Finally, the website has an opportunity to do more than tell prospects what Martin can do—it can show the scale, coordination and expertise behind the work, from your vertically integrated capabilities to BIM and projects like Prime Power.

The Goldilocks Section
$6,000–$10,000

An interactive module that makes your middle-ground position your biggest weapon. What quietly disappears when you go with the small guy. What you inherit when you go with the billion-dollar guy. And the sweet spot in the middle, backed by receipts: 100% employee-owned, 90% repeat clients, 6.1M+ yards poured.

Vertical Integration Visual
$4,000–$7,000

Ready-mix, finishing, crane/rigging, heavy transport, safety. One animated sequence that answers the question every GC is really asking: who do I chase when something slips? Answer: one phone call, zero finger-pointing.

The value of vertical integration isn't the list of five capabilities. It's what goes wrong when you don't have them. Concrete is the most unforgiving trade for handoffs because the product is perishable. The moment that truck is batched, a clock starts. A late ready-mix supplier, a crane sub double-booked, a finishing crew from a different company showing up to someone else's cold joint... every gap between vendors is a place the schedule dies and the finger-pointing starts.

One sentence version: "Everybody lists their capabilities. We're going to show what a pour day looks like when five companies have to hand off to each other, and then show what it looks like when it's all one company. The visual is the argument."

Interactive Job-Site Explorer
$15,000–$25,000

Pick your project type (data center, water treatment, substation, distribution, TI) and the site transforms around it, with your marquee clients and regional map woven in. The kind of experience your billion-dollar competitors buy and your low-bid competitors can't.

See What We See: BIM Showcase
$8,000–$15,000

An interactive reveal of what your BIM and virtual design work catches before it becomes a problem on site: clashes, pour sequencing, embed coordination. The visual proof of why you're not the lowest bid, and why that's the point.

Idea: hover-reveal, like Breda's infrared gun. Normal job site photo or model view on top; mouse over it and you see what Martin's BIM caught before it became a problem in the field.

The three reveals that matter:

  • Clash caught. A rebar/embed/conduit conflict flagged in the model. Caption: "Found in the model in March. Not in the slab in June."
  • Pour sequence. The model animating pour order. Caption: "Every pour planned before the first truck rolls."
  • Embeds placed. Anchor bolts/embeds located digitally. Caption: "Right the first time. No chipping, no comeback."

The framing line: "The low bid didn't include this. You find that out later." That's the whole sales argument — it visually justifies why they're not the cheapest number. You do work your competitors don't. Right now it's invisible. We're going to let buyers literally see what you see.
