Summary
Formax Printing is one of our oldest clients, having been with DynamiX since 2008! The current site code is largely from 2014, and it's time to modernize and bring it up to the state of what modern Octane and DynamiX sites can provide. To minimize costs, we will be leveraging Octane's layout store for the entire design.

There are currently 2,219 legacy "tag" pages that exist on the site and serve no current purpose, alongside 262 pages that are references to 2009 and 2010-type content that is no longer present. We will remove these as part of our migration.

Site Styler
As you saw during our call
together, Octane's Site Styler allows for sweeping changes to the look and feel of the
site experience, as well as smaller, nuance changes where appropriate. This
will be night and day compared to your current experience, and dramatically
better, faster and more nimble than any Wordpress or similar builder out there.
Layout Store
A brand new feature of our Octane software is the new Layout Store. This technology is designed to allow your team to add new features to the site without needing our support, both to fill in small gaps in areas and for broader and more interesting capabilities. As part of our work together on the new site, our team will integrate all current Layout Store layouts into the new site, currently over 150 components which can be utilized by our team or yours to continue expanding the site well into the future.
SEO Explorer
Our
exclusive SEO explorer lets you know where you stand in real time, pointing out
issues on pages across the website. We use it when building the site, and
you'll have access to keep it moving forward as content is added.
Audit Trail
We consider Octane to be a "single source of truth" for how a site is being worked on and improved over time, and have designed many features into the platform that allow for easy access to data that can assist in decision making and understanding.
- Input-Based: See any adjustments made to an input on a given page
simply by clicking on the history tool. You can use this area to revise back to
a previous version as well simply by clicking on the text and confirming!
- Page-Based: Want to see what changes have been made to a given page? This lives next to
each page and shows every adjustment since the moment the page was made.
- Global Trail: The left navigation bar includes a link to the site's global audit trail, which provides all changes made to the site and lets you filter by user.
